WAIT! Here I am!

I bet ya thought I forgot, huh?  ;)

Nah!  Just had a fairly busy day, but here I am (by the skin of my teeth), and I've come back just like I said I'd do, to share what it was I did with those lil' mini Christmas trees I shared with you yesterday.

Now, before I actually show you the end product, I have to say, honestly and truly, these pictures did NO JUSTICE to the trees.  Matter of fact, I'm pretty disappointed with the photo results.  :(  When I look through the photos, I'm like, "Oh, those are cute..."  but when I see them IN PERSON, I'm like, "OH! EM!! GEE!!!  THOSE ARE SOOOOOOOO FLIPPIN' CUTE - I ♥ THEM!"  You see the difference?  Yeah, I'm sure you've had similar experiences with photos and crafts and whatnot.  It's so NOT fair, is it?  I guess it doesn't help, either, that I've had this big ole' fancy camera for almost a year now, and STILL don't know how to use it.  I mean, I KNOW how to use it, but, I also KNOW that I'm surely not using it to it's full potential... and I've even read the user's guide/manual thing-a-ma-jig.  Oh well... I just can't remember all them different parts I read.  0_o  One day... one day...

So, I 'spose there's not really much more to say, oh! except that I think vintage mica flakes are really hard(er?) to capture on camera, maybe?  You just can't see how much these trees sparkle and shine in the pics, and there even appears to be "bare" spots on them, but trust me! they are very sparkly -all over!   :)

FAB FIND! ~Mini Christmas Trees~

Look what I picked up today!  Found these guys for only 69 cents a piece, and now I'm kickin' myself for not having got the rest of them, BUT I shall return tomorrow and get the remainders before someone else snags 'em up... IF I make it in time!  :D

Aren't they CUTE!?  They're mini Christmas trees on little wood rounds, about 9" tall -LOVE THEM! 

Now, just wait'll ya see what I'm doing with them!

"Snow Friends" Ornies Are Back!

Good Morning, and Happy Friday to all my Prim Friends out there!

I know it's been a while since I last posted, but I have been SO sick with a YUCKA cold that just keeps lingering on, and on, and on, and on!  Just when I think I'm feeling better, BAM!  Here we go again!  Anyway, needless to say, I've had little energy to get anything "extra" done lately, and crafting was just out of the question there for a little while.  BUT, over the past few days, I have been able to get a couple of projects done, and now that I'm done whining about all my woes, I'll get on with the sharing part of this post.  *wink*

So, last year, these lil' guys I call "Snow Friends" were quite popular down at the shoppe, and I've had several folks asking me if I'd be doing more this year, so of course, I just had to!  :)  I also made up quite a few more "Never-Melting Snowballs" as the few bags I had down at the shoppe after Thanksgiving sold out rather quickly, and I was also asked if I'd be making more of those as well.  The snowballs are not packaged yet, but I'll include a couple of photos of those here too.  

Here are this year's batch of "Snow Friends" that I did in both Diamond Dust and Vintage Mica Flakes this time.  There are boys and girls here, each with a matching "Friend."  I hope you will enjoy them as much as I do, and again, I sure hope you *won't* mind my posting WAY TOO MANY photos, as usual!  LOL

Okay!  That's all for now (like that wasn't ENOUGH, right!? lol).  These guys (and gals) have got to get tagged and ready to get down to the Boutique in just a couple of hours, so I must pick up the pace and quickly.  I don't even want to think about the mess I have to clean up from these "Snow Friends" but I also have that to take care of, AND there's Christmas decorating to do and a tree to go up today!  I can hardly believe I'm even saying that last part.  This is the latest I've EVER been with the Christmas decorating.  Oh boy, I best get movin'!
