I bet ya thought I forgot, huh? ;)
Nah! Just had a fairly busy day, but here I am (by the skin of my teeth), and I've come back just like I said I'd do, to share what it was I did with those lil' mini Christmas trees I shared with you yesterday.
Now, before I actually show you the end product, I have to say, honestly and truly, these pictures did NO JUSTICE to the trees. Matter of fact, I'm pretty disappointed with the photo results. :( When I look through the photos, I'm like, "Oh, those are cute..." but when I see them IN PERSON, I'm like, "OH! EM!! GEE!!! THOSE ARE SOOOOOOOO FLIPPIN' CUTE - I ♥ THEM!" You see the difference? Yeah, I'm sure you've had similar experiences with photos and crafts and whatnot. It's so NOT fair, is it? I guess it doesn't help, either, that I've had this big ole' fancy camera for almost a year now, and STILL don't know how to use it. I mean, I KNOW how to use it, but, I also KNOW that I'm surely not using it to it's full potential... and I've even read the user's guide/manual thing-a-ma-jig. Oh well... I just can't remember all them different parts I read. 0_o One day... one day...
So, I 'spose there's not really much more to say, oh! except that I think vintage mica flakes are really hard(er?) to capture on camera, maybe? You just can't see how much these trees sparkle and shine in the pics, and there even appears to be "bare" spots on them, but trust me! they are very sparkly -all over! :)
Here they are... my Mini Prim and Simple Christmas Trees!

I also made up a few more bags of "Never-Melting Snowballs."
Thank you SO MUCH for stopping by and taking the time! See you again soon!
♥Blessings♥
Oh your little trees turned out so cute Morgan!! Hugs! Tina
ReplyDeleteWhy, thank you, Miss Tina! :) I do wish you could see them, IN PERSON... the pics truly do them no justice, seriously. I guess their true barometer will be based on whether or not any of them sell. hehe We shall see! ;)
ReplyDeleteHi Morgan! I was looking through my list of followers and I see that you follow my blog so I thought I would come over here and meet you. Glad I did! =]
ReplyDeleteYour trees are darling! I can see the mica sparkling in the pictures, so pretty. The snowballs are so cute, love the different sizes. Mixed with the pine cones, they make the perfect centerpiece, don't they?
Looking forward to following your blog.
Have a delightful week~
Hello, Angie, and welcome to my lil' place here on the net! I'm so very happy you've joined me here, and look forward to getting to know you. Thank you so much for your kind comments, I so appreciate them. :)
ReplyDeleteI have been "scarce" here most recently, but am getting "back in the game" as I have much to do in the crafting dept. With the Holidays behind us, I have no more excuses... lol ;)
I wish you a wonderful weekend and thank you again!
~Morgan♥
