Sneak Peek!

Afternoon, all!
I really just wanted to assure everyone that yes, I'm still alive and well... just busy-busy!  Homeschooling four children kinda keeps a body that way, I guess!  *wink*

I've had so little time to craft lately and it's nearly driving me mad, so today, I thought I'd just DO something-ANYTHING, even if it was the tiniest amount of some kind of crafting, I MUST just DEWIT... so I DID!  lol

Anyway, here's a quick "update" or "sneak peek" for ya!  A while back I was browsing some Halloween craft projects and ran across some very spooky-kewl "Halloween Potion Bottles" and the like, with some really neat labels and such!  I knew I just had to make some, and today I finally got around to getting a start on those!  I was fortunate enough to snag up these FREE spooky labels, but for the love of me, I cannot find the link again.  When/if I find it, I'll share.  :)

They're not quite finished yet, but here's a lil' peek at what's going on.  :)

From Creme Soda Bottles... this!
I'll be back in the next day or two with the finished product!

Thanks for stopping by, and I'll see ya again real soon!

So, What Do Ya Do...

When ya don't have any Sweet Annie?
I literally went "Green" and hung all my carrot tops from today's garden pickin' upside down to dry.  I've never done this before, but have you ever really looked at the leaves of carrot tops?

Well, we'll see how they do.  I'm really looking forward to using these in Christmas crafting!

Anyone else ever dry out their carrot tops?  I'm curious to know how they turned out, but suspicious that I may be... "The Only One!

Fall Centerpieces From a Fab Find!

Good afternoon, everyone!  I'm back with another finished Fall craft to share.

Yesterday, I stopped at the GW in search of some more fabric, and while I was there I found these two FABULOUS ceramic "MILK" jugs.  Since they were half off, I couldn't resist, and sure glad I didn't!  This is what I did with them...

(again, a LOT of photos here, but some were with flash, some without, and well...  I wasn't sure which ones I should post, so I posted 'em all... minus the ones I initially deleted).  *wink*

That's all the time I have right now, but I hope to return later today for some more sharing, that is, IF I can manage to squeeze in some more craft time!

Happy New Week!  Make it GREAT!

Pantry Cakes Smell SOOO Good!

Good Sunday morning, Friends!  It's beautiful, cool, and rainy here in the Pacific Northwest, and I couldn't be happier than a pig wallerin' in mud!  :D  Well, on second thought, actually, I could be happier... if only instead of drizzly rain, it was a nice rain storm, with a lil' thunder and lightning...  now, then I would be as happy, but this weather will surely do!  *wink*

I have quite a few things on my "To Do" list today, including getting several more fabric pun'kins made up, and I'm not real sure what other crafting I may conquer, but hopefully I'll either complete or start something else.  H'mmm...

Currently, I'm fixin' up a batch of Organic Cinnamon/Vanilla Spiced French Toast, topped off with my "famous" homemade syrup, for all the heathens, children.  *wink*  And later today, I sure hope to find time to whip up four more loaves of zucchini bread.  I can always have my Rainy take care of that- she likes to bake as well, and that'll give me a lil' more time at the crafting table, etc.

Well, I should get on with the real purpose of this post: to share my latest YUMMY pantry cakes.  Of course, by "yummy" I do not mean "to the tummy."  These are strictly for "decorative" purposes only, however, boy! do they smell DELICIOUS!  :)  Most of them are simply "Cinnamon Spiced" scent, but there are also a few that are "Hazelnut/Cinnamon Spiced."  I really loved how the finished product turned out, after decorating them up a bit.  ...I sure hope they do well at the shoppe!

So, on with the Pantry Cakes, already, right!?

Honestly, I know the cakes have a "Christmas-y" feel to them, but I really think they "qualify" for year-round decor.  Then again an "afterthought," I wonder if I'm just trying to convince myself of that, or if I really do actually believe it?  H'mmm...  I cannot decide- GO FIGURE!  0_o

Thank you for stopping by, and I'll be doing the same again real soon!  Happy Sunday!  May yours be peaceful and blessed.  ♥

TGIF, Friends!

I'm back to share with you my new Grubby Prim Ghost Picks!
I simply used a coloring book page to make my own ghost pattern-super easy!  :)

Once complete, I simply hot-glued sticks (from our back yard) in through the openings I left in the bottoms after sewing and stuffing, then closed the opening up by wrapping with twine and tying 'em off!

Well, back to the kitchen- supper is in the works!

A Present Just for Me!

I received a very special gift, from a very special lil' girl!

Just look what our Lil' Lulu's been up to, while mommy's been craftin' away lately!  She made it all by herself~ isn't it purdy!?

Thank you, Princess Pea!  Mommy L♥VES it!

My First Candy Corn

Good evening, everyone!  Just stopping in to share another "first" -my semi-finished candy corn.

Originally, I wasn't going to share until they were altogether complete, meaning, with tags and a few "embellishments" of some sort, but I didn't want anyone to think I've been completely lazy over the last day or two, so here I am to show you that I've actually made something else since the Witch Hats were finished.  *wink*

Mind you, these are not in their "final state," but here they are after they've been cut, sewn, stuffed, stitched, painted and twice GRUBBIED with my own prim solution.  :)

Again, more photos than necessary, I know, but...  well...  that's just how I roll!
Here's to a relaxing, uneventful evening!
Nitey-nite, Prim friends
